Yes — this 8" x 10" open/closed hours magnet is printed in Canada and priced in Canadian dollars. After checkout, you supply your business name and opening hours, and we print them on the panel.

Is there a custom open closed sign for a shop door?

This is exactly that: an 8" x 10" printed magnet panel with your business name and hours, reading OPEN one way and CLOSED the other. It sticks to any magnetic steel door or window frame — no hooks, tape or suction cups.

Is the sign lit up or electronic?

No. It's a printed magnet panel — not illuminated and not electronic. There's nothing to plug in and no batteries. You flip it by hand when you open or close.

Will it stick to my shop door?

It sticks to magnetic metal — most steel doors and frames work. Glass and aluminum doors won't hold a magnet. If you're unsure, test the spot with any household fridge magnet before ordering.

What do I need to provide when I order?

Clear or white — pick by what your glass is doing

Clear film — only the ink is printed, so the glass shows through behind the lettering. Best on clean glass and where you want the shopfront to stay open and bright.
White film — printed on a solid white panel. Best over frosted, tinted, or busy glass, and anywhere a decal needs to read from across the street.

What buyers ask

Can I put my own hours on it?: That is the whole point. You set your business name and all seven days on the product page, and the sign redraws as you type. Mark any day closed and it prints CLOSED in red. What you see before you pay is the file we print.
What is the difference between clear and white film?: Clear film prints only the ink, so your glass shows through behind the lettering — it keeps a shopfront looking open and bright. White film prints on a solid white panel, which reads better over frosted, tinted or busy glass and from further away. Same price either way.
Do I have to email you my hours after ordering?: No. You set them on the page before checkout and approve the artwork there. Nothing gets re-typed by hand afterwards, which is the usual way a sign ends up with the wrong Tuesday on it.
Does it go on the inside or the outside of the window?: Inside the glass. It is protected from weather and rain that way, and it is printed to read correctly from the street. Clean the glass first, peel, position, then squeegee from the centre outward.
What if my hours change for the season?: The decal lifts off cleanly, so seasonal businesses usually order a second one when the hours change. Your details are on the order, so a repeat is quick.
Can I put my logo on it instead of the maple leaf?: Not yet on this listing. Today the sign carries a maple leaf at the top. If you need your own logo there, contact us before ordering and we will quote it.
