Die-cut vs kiss-cut stickers: which one do I need?
When the cutter goes through both layers — sticker and backing — every piece arrives separate, shaped to your artwork. That is die-cut. When it cuts only the vinyl layer and leaves the backing sheet whole, the stickers stay together until you peel them — that is kiss-cut. For individual pieces and decals, choose die-cut; for multi-sticker sheets or label sets, choose kiss-cut.

If the stickers need to arrive on one shared backing, they are produced as kiss-cut sheets. The vinyl is cut to each shape, but the blade stops at the backing so the sheet stays in one piece and the stickers peel off one at a time. If you want every sticker cut free of its backing, order die-cut instead.
