About This Sticker
What You Get
Your toolbox, shop wall, or truck window gets hardware-store history that holds. This vintage tool decal pulls from mid-century Canadian trade-catalogue line art — the engraved, inked aesthetic of the working hardware shelf — and puts it on 7-year outdoor cast vinyl. Cut and shipped direct from Port Colborne, Ontario.
- Four sizes: 4" toolbox-lid, 6" panel, 9" window, 12" garage-door scale
- 7-year UV-stable cast vinyl — pigment runs through the material, not over it
- Die-cut to the art edge: no white background box, no rectangular carrier film
- Single-colour construction — solid, clean, and readable at distance
- Waterproof, UV-laminated surface rated for full Canadian outdoor exposure
How It Works
Peel, position, squeegee. Transfer tape holds the decal in register until it's pressed flat. Clean the surface — painted steel, powder coat, glass, raw metal — wipe dry, and apply. The cast vinyl conforms to slight curves and surface texture. On textured or powder-coated metal: clean thoroughly, press firmly along every edge, and allow 24 hours above freezing before the first freeze-thaw cycle. Adhesion locks in as the vinyl settles into the surface profile.
- Transfer tape included — alignment stays true out of the package
- Rated for painted steel, raw metal, glass, fibreglass, and hard plastic
- Freeze-thaw stable once fully adhered — engineered for Canadian winters
- Repositionable briefly on first contact; permanent bond within 24 hours
Why It Works
Mass-produced imported stickers are calendered vinyl with a printed ink layer — UV light degrades that layer within two seasons and you get chalking, fading, and edge lift. Cast vinyl carries the colour through the material itself. There is no separate ink layer to fail. The 7-year outdoor rating is a material specification. Made in Canada on industrial cutting equipment in Port Colborne — not a dropship, not a print-on-demand middleman. The retro engraving aesthetic reads clearly at distance and fits the visual language of a working Canadian shop, trade vehicle, or tool collection without looking out of place. If you need full-colour photographic output, this is not that product. If you need a vintage tool decal that outlasts what it's applied to, this is exactly it.
- Cast vinyl colour is part of the substrate — UV cannot degrade an ink layer that doesn't exist
- Canadian production: no import delays, no duty surprises, cut to order
- Higher per-unit cost reflects 7-year cast material grade and domestic production — not a markup on commodity film
- Retro engraving art scales cleanly from 4" toolbox lid to 12" garage panel
Choose your size, choose your colour, and add to cart — each decal is Made in Canada and cut to order in Port Colborne, Ontario.

Frequently asked questions
How long does the Vintage Tool Catalog Vinyl Decal — Retro Workshop & Garage Sticker last outdoors?‹
This sticker is printed on premium cast vinyl with UV laminate — rated for years of outdoor exposure. It handles car washes, Ontario winters, salt spray, and direct sun without lifting, cracking, or fading.
Can I apply this to my vinyl stickers?‹
Yes. Our cast vinyl adheres to any smooth, clean surface — metal, glass, plastic, painted surfaces, powder-coated finishes. Clean with rubbing alcohol first for best adhesion. It removes cleanly with heat if you ever want to take it off.
Is this sticker waterproof?‹
Absolutely. Eco-solvent ink sealed under UV laminate. Survives rain, snow, car washes, dishwashers (top rack), and pressure washers. Made for Canadian weather.
What sizes are available?‹
Six sizes from 2×3 inches ($3.99) to 10×10 inches ($24.99). Most customers choose 3×3 or 4×4 inches for bottles and laptops, and 6×6 or larger for vehicles.
How fast does it ship?‹
Orders placed before 2 PM ET ship within 1-2 business days from our print shop in Port Colborne, Ontario. Most Ontario destinations receive next business day. Western Canada is 3–5 business days via Canada Post.
