How to install
- Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol or glass cleaner. Let it dry fully.
- Position the decal where you want it. Use light pressure first.
- Smooth firmly from the centre outward to push out air bubbles.
- If you bought the Install Kit, apply the transfer tape over the design, smooth, then peel the transfer tape back at a 180° angle.
- Done.
Care and durability
- Apply above 10°C for best adhesion
- Allow 24 hours to cure before washing or exposure to weather
- Hand-wash safe after curing — avoid pressure washers within 6 inches
- Removes cleanly with heat (hair dryer or heat gun)
Frequently asked questions
Will this survive a Canadian winter?
Yes. Premium outdoor vinyl is the same material used on fleet graphics across Ontario. Salt, slush, and freeze-thaw cycles at -25°C are not a problem once cured.
Can I put it on my back window if I have a defroster?
Yes. Cast vinyl applies safely over rear-window defroster lines.
Which size should I get?
Go up one size from your gut instinct. 4″ disappears on a tailgate. 6″ is right for rear quarter glass and shop doors. 8″ is the rear-window sweet spot. 12″ owns the tailgate.
Do I need the Install Kit?
For sizes 4″ and 6″, you can apply by hand if you're careful. For 8″ and 12″, the transfer tape in the Install Kit lets the whole design land in one piece — strongly recommended.
Will it damage my paint when I remove it?
No. The adhesive releases cleanly when heated with a hair dryer. Any residue lifts with adhesive remover or rubbing alcohol.
How long does it last?
7-year outdoor rating. In practice, most installs hold strong for 8–10 years on a daily-driven vehicle, longer on a shop door or trailer.
