Choosing the right sticker size is the difference between a sticker that gets noticed and one that gets ignored. This guide covers standard Canadian sticker sizes and the best use for each.

Size by Use Case
🖥️ Laptop Stickers
The sweet spot for laptop stickers is 2.5 to 4 inches. This size fits well on a laptop lid without overwhelming the surface. Most people collect multiple stickers, so smaller sizes work better for layering.
🚗 Bumper Stickers
Traditional bumper stickers are 10 × 3 inches (landscape). Modern bumper stickers range from 4 to 12 inches. For rear window decals, go 6-8 inches wide.
🧴 Product Labels
Product labels are typically 2 × 3 inches for jars and bottles. For larger containers, 3 × 4 inches or 4 × 6 inches. Always measure your container before ordering.
💧 Water Bottle Stickers
Water bottle stickers work best at 2 to 3 inches. Use waterproof vinyl or BOPP material so they survive condensation and hand washing.
📦 Packaging Stickers
Packaging seals: 1.5 to 2 inches (circles work great). Box labels: 3 × 4 inches or 4 × 6 inches. Thank-you inserts: 2 × 3 inches.
Tips for Choosing Size
- Measure the surface where the sticker will go before ordering
- Leave at least 1/4 inch of space around the edges for clean application
- For text-heavy designs (ingredient labels), go larger — readability matters
- For logos and icons, smaller sizes (2-3 inch) often look more professional
