Trinity is Newfoundland's most perfectly preserved outport and one of Canada's most remarkable living heritage townscapes — the Trinity Bay community of 170 permanent residents where the entire village has been designated a Heritage District (over 40 heritage buildings in a single streetscape, more per capita than any other Newfoundland community) and where the Rising Tide Theatre's Trinity Pageant (a promenade-style theatrical performance that winds through the village streets with the harbour as backdrop) has been one of Atlantic Canada's finest outdoor theatre experiences for over 25 years — home of the Trinity Historical Society Museum and the most photographed village streetscape in Atlantic Canada.
