Fraser Lake is the Nechako Region's endorheic lake community — the small BC Interior community at the shore of the lake that drains inward (no outlet to the ocean) where the Nadleh Whut'en First Nation and Stellat'en First Nation maintain their traditional territories — home of the Nechako White Sturgeon Recovery Initiative (protecting the critically endangered Nechako white sturgeon), the Kenney Dam downstream communities, and a gateway to the remote Stuart Lake watershed wilderness.
